Basic health insurance (OKP) generally covers the costs of mandatory conventional medical services, such as the initial consultation/triage and certain standard in-office laboratory tests. For special plans (HMO, family doctor model, etc.), please check your coverage directly with your health insurance provider.
-
Product Description: You are responsible for paying for all non-covered services (NPL) yourself. These primarily include integrative consultations, functional medicine, advanced or specialized laboratory tests (e.g., through laboratories abroad), bioidentical hormone therapies, consultations on micronutrients and dietary supplements, certain infusion therapies, etc.
These services go beyond the scope of coverage defined by law for basic insurance and are therefore considered true additional services. They are not billed through the OKP. A transparent explanation of costs and your written consent (fee agreement) are always provided in advance so that you can make an informed decision.
-
Certain supplementary insurances cover part of the costs. Check with your health insurance company before the first session. Treatments that are not (partially) covered are self-pay.
-
Doctor's visits also include preparation and follow-up work, which explains the higher billing time than the pure consultation time. For further visits to the doctor, the "increased treatment requirement" item can be used due to the tariff time limit.
-
E-mail inquiries with medical content or administrative work will be charged in the same way as a telephone consultation - apart from brief queries.
-
For security reasons, we encrypt documents attached to an e-mail with your date of birth.
When opening these documents, you will be asked for a password. Enter your date of birth in the form DDMMYYYYY. Example: 01.05.1994 becomes 01051994

The initial triage consultation is generally covered by basic health insurance.
-
Separated by content: the conventional medicine portion is covered by the KVG, while the integrative medicine portions are private. Time is clearly allocated.
-
No problem—we limit ourselves to services covered by the KVG.
-
Yes. Before non-covered services begin, you will sign a written fee agreement (informed consent).
This document clearly lists the services, the estimated costs, and the fact that these costs are not covered by basic insurance. This ensures transparency for you, allows you to make an informed decision, and provides us with legal protection. You can give your consent digitally or in person.
-
Only standard tests. Specialized tests are covered by private insurance.
