"Hero's Journey" seminar - set off on your journey and find your inner strength
In the "Hero's Journey" seminar, we set off on a journey to find ourselves. The hero's journey is a powerful image that can be applied very well to personal development, resilience and burnout prevention.
The hero's journey can be found in a similar form in many cultures. It always follows the same dramaturgy: a main character leaves their familiar world, overcomes trials, gains knowledge and returns transformed - like Frodo in "The Lord of the Rings".
This powerful image can be applied very well to our lives and our inner journey. Everyone has an inner story - with challenges, crises and turning points. If we see our life as a "hero's journey", we can reinterpret stress, activate resources and learn to emerge stronger from difficult phases (resilience).

hero's journey and monomyth
Sometimes the term monomyth is also used. Monomythos is a term from mythology research: it stands for the universal narrative pattern of the hero's journey described by Joseph Campbell, which can be found in myths and stories from many cultures. This journey follows a recurring dramaturgy: a main character leaves their familiar world, overcomes trials, gains knowledge and returns transformed - as in "The Lord of the Rings", for example.
