With bioidentical hormone therapy we bring your hormones back into balance.

Bioidentical hormones are active substances that are identical to the body's own hormones in terms of their structure, function, effectiveness and metabolism. Therefore, they are better tolerated by the body than synthetic hormones.

Hormones in balance

"Bioidentical hormones - as close to nature as possible!"

Our highly complex hormone system has a huge influence on our well-being and health. This explains how important it is that the highly potent messenger substances are in the right balance and in optimal proportion to each other - which is unfortunately all too often not the case. Even minor disturbances can have major consequences. Could your complaints have something to do with this? We will be happy to clarify this and, if necessary, offer you an individual, well-tolerated therapy with bioidentical hormones.

Hormones explained briefly and simply

There is hardly a process in our body that is not directly or at least indirectly influenced by hormones; no wonder, their interaction has a major influence on our health. Hormones are the chemical messengers of our body. They are, so to speak, the message transmitters between the various organs. Hormones are usually produced in special cells in glandular tissues (e.g. thyroid gland, testicles, ovaries, adrenal glands), from where they are released into the blood in the required quantities. The processes are controlled by the pituitary gland, a gland on the underside of the diencephalon and the hypothalamus, the brain's control center for the autonomic nervous system. The hypothalamus sends so-called releasing hormones to the pituitary gland and stimulates it to produce the hormone corresponding to the releasing factor. The hormones reach their target organ via the bloodstream, where they in turn stimulate or inhibit the production of the gland.

Hormone test

With the help of a hormone test, it is possible to reveal deficits or surpluses in the hormonal supply of the body and to assess the hormonal balance. Often this is possible with a simple saliva test. Sometimes a blood sample is also needed.

Important: You can also perform the saliva test yourself in advance via our partner at www.censa.de and book an appointment with us immediately with the test results. However, please allow sufficient time for this, as it takes a while for the test kit to reach you and be evaluated back in Germany. Furthermore, pay attention to the cycle day. You should therefore allow a good month's lead time.

However, we do not simply rely on test results. In order to be able to offer individual hormone therapy, we also ask ourselves the following question: Do the symptoms and the measured values match? Or do they not? Here we are completely dependent on your personal observations. Especially in the case of the thyroid gland, for example, we can very often observe that patients complain of relevant symptoms both within and outside the specified target range. Therefore, a detailed discussion with you is very important to us.
